• David A. Wilson Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Laureate.

The David A. Wilson Award has two purposes: a) to recognize the trajectory of faculty members in the field of excellence and innovation in higher education teaching and learning by conferring an award in the form of a research grant, and b) to provide an opportunity for the recognized faculty member to guide a less experienced faculty socializing him/her into academic culture, supporting the advancement of his/her teaching, research, and/or service skills, facilitating the growth of future research leaders at institutions that are part of the Laureate network. This award is given annually to five professors from the Laureate Network, which encompasses 25 institutions spread around the world, totaling about 10,000 teachers in different areas of knowledge.
